Sarah Delisle joined Gardner Real Estate Group in March 2019, after almost 7 years as a Realtor in the Greater Portland area. Her client-centered approach and laid-back demeanor leads for a fun and professional experience. She operates by closely listening to the needs of clients and then acts on their timeline. She believes that clients deserve to be well cared for and guided through home education and many conversations. Sarah feels after many years she’s found the best lenders, inspectors, lenders and considers herself a resource for clients beyond the closing table. Sarah’s clients have said they never felt pressured, and felt like she treated them as a friend.
Sarah has consistently been in the top producers in the Greater Portland area with over 15 million in sales in 2016 and over 12 million in 2018. In 2017 she produced her greater accomplishment, her daughter Cora. Sarah’s husband, Jon, has been a special education teacher in Cape Elizabeth for 10 years. They have lived in the Rosemont neighborhood for almost 10 years and they enjoy the convenience to Portland trails, downtown, the airport and all the eateries. Sarah is a self-proclaimed food snob and can talk almost as much about restaurants as she can about real estate.
Sarah grew up down South outside of Atlanta, and moved with her family to NH when she was 15. She loves all the seasons and enjoys xc skiing and the snowshoeing. She tells clients moving from warm places that they have to embrace the seasons to get the whole joy of living in Maine as well as always adding an extra layer. In summer, she loves to vacation on one of the Casco Bay islands and explore the coast. Sarah has also lived in Madison, Wisconsin and Dublin, Ireland. She has traveled all over the country and Europe but considers Portland, Maine the most beautiful spot with an unparalleled quality of life.
Before becoming a realtor, Sarah worked with special needs children in Cape Elizabeth at Pond Cove Elementary. After school she was a coach and mentor to the middle school girls’ soccer team for several years. Sarah has volunteered with many different organizations, served on various boards hosting events around town, and worked with Creative Portland on a program that welcomed new Portlanders to the area by introducing them to seasoned Portlanders. Because of her passion for community and her outward nature, Sarah has hosted events around town with a network ranging from CEOs to contractors. Recently she was even a mentor through a program at Portland High School. She donates to several non-profits and does whatever she can for her community and the people in it.
